These are
the goals I have set to accomplish during my Masters Degree in Instructional
Design:
- Expand
my current skills in ISD and explore intuitive visual design.
- Focus
on improvement of website design and administration skills in the role
of
project site Webmaster
- Develop
strong Section 508 Compliance skills
- Develop
SCORM Conformance skills
- Improve
my critical analysis of complex ISD issues.
- Hone
teamwork skills and gain better insight to the complex issue of group
dynamics and new supportive roles I can play within the group.
- Improve
team building and project management skills including work with subject
matter experts (SMEs).
- Refine
research and writing skills through graduate level work.
- Gain
more in depth knowledge of classic and current pedagogical theories,
and their methodologies related to Instructional Design and Development.
- The end
goal is to leave the Immersion Program with a solid intellectual and
practical foundation in Learning Theory and Instructional Systems Design
methods to build upon as I continue my career in Instructional Systems
Design.
